"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always preserves."
it's hard to be 19 and
discussing about love like
adults do.
i am, after all, in the eyes of the world,
young
and new to humanity.
but by the bible's definition,
maybe loving is just
not humanly possible.
how much love in this world
is unconditional?
how much of it is
truly keeps no record of wrongs?
maybe bulk of the love
ive known and witnessed
is mere infatuation or
obligation..
or maybe the bible misunderstood,
or could it be me?
maybe i misunderstood.
so when it comes to love,
it is no good to dissect and scrutinise
too much.
its unhealthy to explore too deeply
into the makings of relationships because
they don't usually live up to
the sort of ideals we were taught
to believe in.
be it family, friends, significant others
and more.
guess as long as there is
the fair chance for the feel-good,
we are okay about risking
the comparatively
higher chance of hurting very much.
so won't you let me
be great another day?
and while im not
don't you walk away.
